Product Designer for Design Systems implementation for LinkedIn Entertainment
March 2024 - June 2024
MediaSpot is a conceptual sub-product of LinkedIn designed to address the unique networking needs of the entertainment industry. Developed as part of a product design course, the project focused on creating a field-specific platform that empowers professionals in the entertainment sector to showcase their work, promote projects, and collaborate across disciplines. My role encompassed UX research, interaction design, and prototyping, with a strong emphasis on building a robust design system tailored for LinkedIn integration.

Problem Statement
LinkedIn’s broad professional focus fails to meet the specific needs of entertainment professionals, such as portfolio management, creative showcasing, and specialized networking opportunities.
Existing solutions are fragmented and lack integration with industry standards, leaving professionals without a unified platform to promote their work or collaborate effectively. MediaSpot aimed to fill this gap by combining specialized tools with the familiarity and functionality of LinkedIn.
